LexCollects began as a way for me to document the several hats i’ve tried to wear, from artist to traveler to DIYer. I’ve always been someone who loved a lot of things but never stuck with one.
Over time, I’ve found my passion for designing renovations and this blog transformed from random tidbits to an actual account of my renovations.
Although, I can’t help myself and you might see a random travel post here and there or whatever else I’m up to that week
The story
.In 2020 I quit my job and started flipping houses with my sister. That house took nine months (and a lot of tears) to complete. Now, we flip several houses a year and work with a whole team.
I work primarily on the designs of these houses, but there are still weeks I’m grouting, painting, or putting flooring down.
Each house has been a passion project for me, and I refuse to create boring spaces- even if I know they’re sure to sell. I make spaces I would want to live in, and hope there’s a buyer who does as well.
